The Story

Fits: 2011 thru 2019 Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD LML/L5P Duramax Diesel

The CR2 EPC Solenoid Blocker is designed to replaces the original EPC Solenoid in the valve body, acting as a fooler plug in the bore. It allows the factory solenoid to remain connected to the wiring harness and operate normally. The Factory LML/L5P Allison transmission typically runs at 80 PSI of line pressure, but with the blocker installed, this pressure remains at a constant 230 PSI, even increasing to 280 PSI on idle. This eliminates any drop in pressure during shifts and provides a much stronger hold on horsepower, resulting in improved shift quality and increased transmission lifespan. The installation is straightforward and can be completed in about an hour without having to remove the valve body from the transmission. All that is needed is to drain the fluid, drop the pan, replace the factory EPC Solenoid with the blocker, and reinstall the pan and fluid.
